Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older Reliable Form of Transportation

Ramsey Village is looking for a full-time CMA for our 10p-6:30a shift and our 6a-2:30p. Also, PRN.


Our Medication Aides are responsible for delivering medication services to residents and documenting resident services accordingly. In addition, our Medication Aides are required to: maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality with residents and family information; assist and/or administer medications as prescribed by physician to residents; notify LPN of any untoward medication response; assist/manage all medication refills; acts as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding medication; delivers services and monitors resident needs according to service plan; and ensures high quality resident care is consistently being delivered.

Requirements:

  • CNA or equivalent certification / Med Aide
  • CPR certified
  • Completion of course work/training in medications
  • Six months’ experience in related position
  • Complies with licensing requirements
  • Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds<
  • Possesses a high degree of interpersonal relations skills
  • Capable of relating to a variety of people and personalities
  • Initiative, good-judgment and leadership skills required
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Maintains safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits

Further Requirements: 

  • Criminal background clearance per state licensing requirements 
  • Pre-employment physical
  • Eligible on the Iowa Registry.
